Quand C Robinson Thomas is an award-winning producer who partners with creatives to transform ideas and pitches into captivating content and impactful stories.

With over 10 years of experience leading productions from development to delivery, Quand is dedicated to creating compelling content to tell unique and impactful stories for diverse audiences.

In 2021, Quand founded 2:42am Productions to move the “margins to the center” (bell hooks) in the world of film and media. Therefore, 2:42am Productions is a space for underrepresented and marginalized creatives to produce content that transcends the screen, transforms lives, and challenges our ways of thinking.

During Quand’s extensive career, she has produced for Turner Classic Movies, NBA TV, CNN, and PBS NewsHour. At NBA TV, Quand was the creator and producer for original programming such as Chuck’s GuarONtees with Charles Barkley, WNBA Weekly, Work From Home, Open Court, and Beyond The Paint to name a few.

Quand is a proud ATLien (born and raised in Atlanta) who attended Howard University (Washington, DC), majoring in Broadcast Journalism and Spanish. She is an active member of the Producers Guild of America, Women in Film & Television Atlanta, Atlanta Film Society, and National Association of Black Journalists.
